I just bought a 2019 C300 with $12k AMG upgrade for $22,500 out the door. 40k miles, 1 owner, no accidents. They wanted $25,500 out the door but I negotiated it down. They valued my 2017 Toyota Corolla trade in with 120,000 miles at hail damage at $10,000 up from $5500 because I knew how to negotiate. Then at the end I told them btw I’m not paying for maintenance here lol.

I’ve been selling cars for 3 months, started in March too. First month I sold 21 and my second month was 24.5. I’m at 15 cars currently and should break 20 again (a bit slower this month for me, they hired more sales people too.) My top guy right now this month has over 30, and last month’s top guy had over 40, but these guys have been selling for a few years. 30 is great, not downplaying the kid at all, keep it up.

Everyone should just finance the car for 4 years. With an 825 credit score and no debts I was offered 0.0031 money factor on a lease (that's over 7% APR). Financing isnt much better right now but you'll own it after 4 years and can turn around sell it and be in a better position than leasing then paying residuals. But americans love to take out 6/7 year term loans and get reamed by interest instead of getting a car thats priced appropriately for their budget and paying it off in a shorter time frame.

This is so non efficient. I can have the customer in my office with in minutes…have the appraisal worked up, find out what car they want or suits them, oil it around for a test drive and have my first pencil sitting in my desk. Boom. I am and only care about how efficient and quickly I can get them in, signed and out. I can mange two or three deals all at the same time. I am a high producer.

Wai a minute….how does fianance handle the transaction when you have to expose the actually fact that you sold the car for 11,000 not 10,000? Then added 10,000 to the other sales price. 😮

I spent a year in car sales. During that time I watched them sell several cars at cost and a couple of times for less then they paid for the car. How? Car dealerships make money 3 ways: Selling a car for more then they own it for. Buying a trade for less than its market value. Profit from F&I for loans and other vehicle related products. Advertised cars are priced to bring people into the dealership. They must make money on your trade or in F&I.

everyone knows that stuff is cheap af to buy aftermarket and not worth a damn, its 2024 not 1984... they will give you nitro for damn near free, tint is $100 and spray wax or fabric protector is $30
